Proposed regulation could keep 3D-printed gun blueprints offline for good | Fox News

The SignalYou can’t stop the signal, Mal.  Everything goes somewhere, and I go everywhere.

This isn’t actually a new story for those who follow 2nd Amendment issues, but the rest of you need to be aware of this as well.  It goes well beyond the impossible task of making 3D plans disappear from the web.

Those handy schematics to enable anyone to 3D print gun parts or even a weapon from scratch will not be able to for much longer thanks to a new proposal from the State Department.

This is a joint attack on both the 1st and 2nd Amendments.  What this story isn’t telling you is that Continue reading

Greece’s bailout expires, country defaults on IMF payment – My Way News

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAGreece’s bailout expires, country defaults on IMF payment

Source: My Way News – Greece’s bailout expires, country defaults on IMF payment

Sooner or later it was going to happen.  The sheer arrogance of the Greeks declaring to hold a vote to determine if they are entitled to Germany’s money in order to keep their entitlements was beyond belief.  I can’t say that I really blame Merkel for saying “Enough!”

Now, I won’t put it beyond the realm of possibility that Continue reading

Get ready for health care costs to go up even more.  Can we say “failure” on an unprecedented level?  Hope you don’t have a plan from your employer that does this.

Well, that didn’t take long…

political-correctness-voltaireNot an hour ago I posted on some thoughts about the SCOTUS decision.  Just reviewing the news for today, I have come across the following:

On SCOTUS:

Jindal: ‘Let’s just get rid of the court’

Can the Supreme Court be saved?

Far more telling is the stories on Same Sex Marriage and the Church persecution I predicted:

THE SILENCING: Paper Will Limit Anti-Gay Marriage Op-Eds

ACLU: Why we can no longer support the federal ‘religious freedom’ law

Now’s the Time To End Tax Exemptions for Religious Institutions

Conservative churches confront new reality on gay marriage

It was laughable to hear some telling Christians that they don’t have to worry.  It was even more laughable when others pointed out Justice Kennedy protected religious liberty in the decision.  Make no mistake, Christianity is the real target here.  Christianity is not compatible with Progressivism.  They are antithetical worldviews.

Sometimes, I really hate being right.

Ps: Second amendment is next…

More thoughts on recent SCOTUS decisions

I have seen a lot of comments lately about how the Supreme Court has made Obamacare legal or made same sex marriage legal. SCOTUS did *not* make it legal.  If fact, there are several precedents for the other branches to ignore the opinion of the court.  Andrew Jackson did in the Indian Removal Act (source of the famous, “now let them enforce it” misquote/paraphrase), Lincoln did in the suspension of Habeas Corpus, and FDR was moving to ignore SCOTUS (though the court ultimately upheld him).

If the Legislature or Executive chose to ignore the Court – say in a decision the other branches deem unconstitutional, there is nothing it can do.  In general, they honor its opinions, but an obligation is not there.  In fact, Congress has the power to remove any Federal judge, include SCOTUS. Continue reading

Random Thoughts About the Possibility of a Second Civil War – TTAG

Since 1855, the U.S. political scene has been divided between Democrats and Republicans. While there’s no question which party works harder to degrade and destroy Americans’ natural, civil and Constitutionally protected right to keep and bear arms, I reckon the two-party political divide is a distinction

Original Article (read first!): Random Thoughts About the Possibility of a Second Civil War – The Truth About Guns

I had hopes that a political solution could be reached at one point, but with the two SCOTUS decisions at the end of last week, I think bloodshed is all but inevitable. I do not, however, think it is going to happen as most may think. Continue reading

The real question here is how long people of good conscience are going to continue to tolerate this from the government?

The sad part of this is that I had to go to a British paper to find this story.
