It seems there is some confusion regarding the election.  Rather than expending a huge amount of effort and money trying to figure out what happened, allow me to help.

  • We don’t want more government programs. We want less!
  • Republicans were elected to undo what Obama has done. That is the mandate.
  • That was the message during the primaries. That was the message last week. That is still going to be the message in January when the Republican Senate is sworn in.

It’s really very simple.  I hope this helps.

Frankly, the electoral college is on of the more brilliant inventions of the Founders.  They went out of their way to design the system to avoid a collective popular vote.

This NPV scheme will effectively disenfranchise voters outside of a handful of populous states.

With the success Republicans have had in State Houses and Governors’ Mansions, some efforts should be started in select states to get a repeal of this act.  It’s something that has been kept so low-key and under the radar, I suspect many state legislators are not even aware of it.
